A south african court on Tuesday Adjourned former president Jacob Zumas corruption trial to 10th August .
This is after his lawyer Dali Mpofu applied for Postponement of the trial for Zuma to appear in court personally rather than virtually.
June 2021 Jacob Zuma who is the former president of south Africa was jailed for 15 months for contempt of court.
This led to violent protests from his support base,protests caused looting of properties,clash of protesters and police that led to lose of lives.
Jacob Zuma is accused of corruption during his tenure as president,the main allegations he is accused of plundering public state resources,traffic influence over government policy among others. Zuma who has pleaded not guilty was forced to resign by parliament in 2018 after being in office for nine years.
