Bungoma DEP Primary school parents turned in large numbers to take foodstuffs to their children who are currently sitting for the KCPE exam despite the prevailing condition of the Covid-19 disease.They carried all sorts of assorted lunch meals to meet their kids at the school gate.

The school currently has a large population of more than  2000 pupils,this makes  it to be among the high populated schools in Bungoma county.

The onset of the KCPE for std 8 students kicked off today on 22 March 2021 according to the scheduled academic calendar for the year 2021. This comes amid the interruption of the schuduled date of the national exams  the KCPE and KCSE due to Covid-19 devastating effects.

The prescence of the large number of the parents who mingle at the school entrance while taking foodstuff  for their kids in school could be more feared with the prevailing condition of the Covid-19 spreading trends.
