Uganda Elections; Bobi wine assures his supporters that they will win the presidential election after casting his vote.
He assured his supporters after casting his votes at Magere free square near Uganda’s capital Kampala.
The pop star accompanied by his wife cast their votes to mark their victory amid the tough election exercise in Uganda. The military police officers are deployed in the polling centers to man the exercise.
The elections are held amid the Internet blackout that was confirmed by the Ugandan government before the onset of the voting exercise.
President Museveni imposed tough measures by deploying the military in every place both land and air operations amid the election.
Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi endured rough moments in competing for the long term serving a president who has stayed in power for 35 years. Sources reveal that his supporters were tortured by the police even shot dead in the campaign riots.
At least more than 40 people have been killed in Uganda following the harsh political condition in Uganda. Early before the Elections, President Museveni had admitted to accepting the election results when loses to his counterpart Bobi Wine.
Ugandans enter the elections in the sixth term and if Museveni wins the presidential he will rule for the sixth term who is now 76 years old.
