Butonge high school principal John Kithaiga asked parents to provide the necessary reading and writing materials to all students amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mr. Kithaiga said this after realizing that students who had reopened for learning in school, had paused a lot of challenges in their studies.
”Parents should support staff teachers at home since most students spend most of their time at home and this could give a big millage in covering their syllabus,” the school head said this in his office in an interview with the County Guardian News.
This comes after the Ministry of Education ordered schools to reopen after the easing of the Covid-19 trend a few days back.
parents had experienced a hard time caring for students at home since students had the longest break ever in the history of the academic calendar from school.
