“When I was called to come and witness i found school him in a very critical condition I couldn’t even imagine that he will be well,” he said.
Armed robbers attacked a security guard at Nalondo special school injuring him after they escaped with electronics worth 100,000 shillings.
School guards are facing challenges amid Covid-19 when most of school workers are not around at school, insecurity in schools has been rampant where the security department have been urged to intervene.
In an interview with school principal Nalondo special school,Walter Kwanusu he confirmed the incident saying that the school guard was attacked at midnight by unknown gangsters injured with a panga.
“The armed gangster raided the school at midnight, the school guard was unable to raise an alarm,” he said.
He added that the armed robbers was carrying pangas which they used to break into the room to steal electronics worth ksh.100,000.
He assured that the school guard is received medication at Bungoma County refferal Hospital, decrying for an increased insecurity in the area.

He urged the security department to improve patrol to curb such inhuman incidences happening in future.
“The security department should extent their patrol because people have taken curfew hours as a previlege to steal,rob and kill others,” he decried, adding that if we don’t tighten our security then our schools we continue suffering losses.
The police has started investigations to establish the culprits.
His sentiments were echoed by Paul Masika school principal Chebukwa secondary School who pleaded with security department to improve night patrol especially near learning institutions.
“During this pandemic time many people are desperate resulting to robbery,” he said.
